Yes — Telecare Geriatric Services are bulk billed for Medicare patients located in regional and remote areas (MMM2–MMM7). There are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible patients.

Yes — family members, carers, or support persons are welcome and encouraged to attend the telehealth appointment. Their involvement is particularly helpful for patients with cognitive difficulties, as they can provide additional history and context for the clinician.

Yes. Telecare telehealth appointments can be attended from home, an aged care facility, supported living environment, or any location with a device and internet connection. Staff at the facility can assist with setting up the appointment if needed.
